HTCS Educational Activities

Our Vision and Mission:

Vision: Through education, we seek to inspire and sustain a strong, vibrant and thriving Indian Hindu community for generations to come.

Mission: To educate the community about our rich Indian Hindu culture, traditions and languages, and thereby strengthen our community through unique offerings in academic, cultural, leadership, and professional development. A top priority for us is to engage our youngsters in this initiative and help them build fond memories and remain connected to this institution.

The HTCS Educational Committee is responsible for overseeing the Temple's language and religious classes, the annual summer camp for youth as well as other related activities. It recruits teachers and provides support, space and supplies for all classes. The classrooms are located in the Cultural Center at the Temple.

Over the years HTCS has been running this successful educational initiative by recruiting experienced professionals to volunteer as teachers as well as administration and support staff .If you are interested in any of the volunteering opportunities, please contact us.

The HTCS Educational activities include regularly scheduled classes in various Indian languages, Hinduism and religious studies. Other activities includes a week long summer camp, periodic seminars, STEM Workshops, Leadership training, the annual Vidyalaya Day etc.
